The Best Tiger Safari Parks in India!

India, the incredible  place where you can see the tigers in wild i.e natural habitat. Several National Park and sanctuaries are there across the country but at only few places are extremely good. These places are well developed from tourism point of view as well. As per NTCA list about 50 Tiger reserves are there for protecting tigers in the country. There are several factors involved in good tiger sightings. The important are type of forest, area of the park, climatic conditions etc.

Below list gives you an idea to choose national park for safari.

A. Ranthambhore (Rajasthan), Bhandhavgarh & kanha national park. (Madhya Pradesh i.e Central India)

  2. Tadoba Andhari, Nagzira & Bor national park (Maharashtra)
  3. Bandipur & Nagarhole national parks (Karnataka)
  4. Periyar & Kabini national park (Kerela)
  5. Corbett (Uttrakhand )
  6. Dudhwa (Uttar Pradesh)
  7. Kaziranga & Manas national park (Assam)

If we come down from top to bottom of the list then tiger sightings decreases but Biodiversity is very rich on lower side of the list. For example North east parks like Kaziranga & Manas are excellent in variety.

Jim Corbett National Park is very rich in birding.
This is only general assumption. However, tiger sighting will depend on weather conditions, zones as well on the day you are taking safari. If it rains then also sightings chances are very rare in any park. Every park has some zones very famous for sightings. There importance keeps on changing from time to time depending on tigers moments.

Note: Any Tiger Reserve is two nights destination & 03 or 04 drives are recommended for tiger sightings.
