Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Welcome to India
Arriving in Delhi is an adventure in itself. Your private driver and guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, the journey begins with a deep dive into India’s layered history. Visit Red Fort (outside view), wander the bustling alleys of Chandni Chowk, explore Jama Masjid, and drive past Raj Ghat and India Gate. The evening is free for leisure, allowing you to absorb the city’s energy while acclimating to its sights, sounds, and vibrant street life. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Old & New Delhi – Monuments & Markets
Start the day exploring the contrast of Old and New Delhi. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, an early Mughal architectural marvel surrounded by lush gardens, then head to Qutub Minar, the towering red sandstone minaret. In New Delhi, drive by Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and India Gate, witnessing the capital’s political grandeur. In the afternoon, wander through Connaught Place or Janpath, perfect for picking up handicrafts, souvenirs, and tasting local street food. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi to Agra to Bharatpur / Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary
Depart early for Agra. On arrival, check in and head straight to the Taj Mahal to experience its beauty at sunrise—the serene reflection on Yamuna River and the white marble glowing in early light is breathtaking. Then visit Agra Fort and, if time permits, explore Itmad-ud-Daulah (the “Baby Taj”), a delicate Mughal masterpiece. By afternoon, continue to Bharatpur and explore Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for migratory birds. Overnight near Bharatpur.

Day 4: Bharatpur to Ranthambore National Park
Wake up early to enjoy a peaceful birding walk in Keoladeo or explore surrounding villages to see local life. After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s most famous tiger reserves. Upon arrival, relax at your lodge before your first evening safari. As the sun sets, your guide will help spot tigers, leopards, sloth bears, hyenas, and a variety of birds amidst the rugged terrain. Overnight stay near or inside the park.

Day 5: Ranthambore Safari & Transfer to Jaipur
Rise early for a morning safari—the perfect time to spot predators and observe wildlife activity. After a hearty breakfast, set out for Jaipur. En route, visit Sawai Man Singh Wildlife Sanctuary or stop in rural towns to see traditional village life. Arrive in Jaipur by evening, check into your hotel, and enjoy a relaxed evening stroll through the historic streets. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 6: Jaipur Sightseeing– The Pink City Exploration
Today, explore Jaipur’s royal heritage. Begin with Amber Fort, where a jeep or optional elephant ride takes you to the hilltop fort with panoramic views. Explore its grand halls, courtyards, and mirror-adorned chambers. Next, visit City Palace, housing museums of royal artifacts, followed by Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory with remarkable instruments. Stop at Hawa Mahal for photographs and spend your evening wandering the colorful bazaars for jewelry, textiles, and handicrafts. Optional: enjoy a cultural dinner or folk performance. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 7: Jaipur to Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary → Delhi (or onward)
After breakfast, drive to Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary on the Aravalli foothills for a safari in search of tigers, leopards, and other wildlife. After lunch, start your journey back toward Delhi, with optional stops at small towns or historic forts along the way. Depending on your schedule, overnight stay can be in transit or in Delhi.

Day 8: Departure or Extensions
After breakfast, your tour concludes with a transfer to Delhi Airport for your onward flight. Travelers with extra time can extend their journey to Udaipur, Jodhpur, Pushkar, or explore additional wildlife parks and desert landscapes. This concludes a journey blending history, culture, and wilderness.
