The Delhi Agra Ranthambore Tour is for travellers who have only five days but want to see the Taj Mahal and go on a real tiger safari. In the first two days, you visit Humayun’s Tomb and India Gate in Delhi, then the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort in Agra. On the third day, you stop at Fatehpur Sikri on the way to Ranthambore, where you stay for two nights. The whole trip is in a private AC car with an English-speaking driver, so you don’t have to plan around train or bus timings.
Ranthambore has forest, lakes and an old hilltop fort in one place, so the visit is worth it even on a day when the tigers stay hidden. We book your hotels and two safaris, but we can’t promise a tiger sighting. The park is large and the animals move freely, so a second safari gives you a better chance. If you have more days or want a different route, we can change the plan to suit you.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in DelhiYour driver meets you at Indira Gandhi International Airport with a name board. After a short drive, you check in at your hotel and rest.
In the afternoon, we visit India Gate, drive past the President's House and Parliament area, and walk through Humayun's Tomb. The tomb is a good first stop because its design later influenced the Taj Mahal. If time remains, we go to Qutub Minar.
Dinner is at your own cost. Your driver can suggest a good place near the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Agra
After breakfast, we drive to Agra by the Yamuna Expressway. The drive takes about 4 hours. After check-in, we go to Agra Fort, where three Mughal emperors built palaces and halls.
Later, we visit Itmad-ud-Daulah, a small marble tomb with fine inlay work. In the evening, we go to the Taj Mahal. The monument is closed on Fridays, so we plan around that day when we fix your schedule. If your dates make the Taj visit fall on a Friday, we reorder the days.
Overnight in Agra.
Day 3: Agra to Ranthambore via Fatehpur Sikri
If you want a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, you can do it this morning. The early light is softer and the crowds are smaller. After breakfast, we leave for Ranthambore.
On the way, we stop at Fatehpur Sikri. Emperor Akbar built this city in the 1570s and left it within about 15 years. The red sandstone buildings are still well preserved. Take time to see Buland Darwaza and the Jama Masjid.
We continue to Ranthambore, a total drive of about 5 to 6 hours with the stop. You check in, rest and prepare for the next morning's safari. Overnight in Ranthambore.
Day 4: Ranthambore Safari
The morning safari starts shortly after sunrise. A forest-department guide goes with the vehicle, and the park decides the route. You may see tigers, but you may also see leopards, sambar, chital, nilgai, langur, crocodiles and many birds. The old fort walls and lakes make the scenery worth the trip even if the tigers stay hidden.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and rest during the afternoon. If permits are available, you can take a second safari in the afternoon. You can also visit Ranthambore Fort, which is near the park gate. Overnight in Ranthambore.
Day 5: Ranthambore to Delhi
After breakfast, we drive to Delhi, about 6 to 7 hours. We drop you at the airport or your hotel. Tour ends.
Please book your onward flight after 8 PM so you do not miss it if traffic is heavy. If you prefer, you can end the tour at Sawai Madhopur railway station and take a train from there. Tell us your plan before booking.

A private car works well on this route because you can start early for the safari and stop for photos on the way. It also avoids train timings, which do not always match the safari schedule.
